For this art test I was given some reference images and a polycount of 3000 tris max. The final model would be put in the scene without fancy materials so I had to paint almost every detail in the diffuse, chrome reflections too.
These are some captures from Maya viewport with minimal lighting (one directional and one ambient light).
Final texture had to be a 512x512 (since it's an env prop and not a hero prop), but for presentation reasons I took captures of the full resolution texture, wich is a 1024x1024, wheels and car plane included.

Since I'm used to when I deal with damaged stuff, firstly I created a pristine version of the car. Here you can see the clear chrome that was painted on the texture.
